Impeachment insights

It may seem be boring, annoying, or worse, but the impeachment proceedings now underway will certainly have outcomes that impact the state of our democracy. One thing to remember as we attune to media reports on this epic moment in our nation’s history: quantity does not make up for quality of reporting. Yes, we are deluged by the news coverage and it is tempting to turn away. But now is the time to exercise our discernment, look for coverage which is based on quality evidence and avoid the toxic partisanship infected with divisive agendas that are antithetical to free press, free speech and our embrace of not only democracy but also equality and compassion for humankind beyond our national borders.
